Preface. The purpose of this publication is to present a practical help for pastors andfor all those who are involved in the teaching of Holy Scripture. It is the resultof a series of biblical circles the author himself has given to groups of faithful. The book can be used as a manual for any kind of biblical class concentrated onthe New Testament and as a general introduction for those who want to deepentheir knowledge of the Gospel. The book doesn't need a real introduction. The importance of this study and ofbible-study in general is exposed sufficiently in the first chapter. We can onlywish the reader that this book may contribute to the enrichment of his knowl-edge of our divine Redeemer and His message. Examples attract. We can becertain of the fact that more our memory and imagination are filled with thewords and acts of the God-man, more our life will approach this ideal. Each chapter is followed by a few illustrations and exercises. These exercisesare simple, and request a lot of time and work, but I exhort you to execute them. From experience the author has seen that they highly favour interest in the studyand meditation of the Holy Scripture.Fr.
