Author
(1823-1904) joined the Society of Jesus in 1841; professor of dogmatics at the Louvain scholasticate (1856-1863), then at the Liège seminary (1863-1871), where he was also in charge of the Holy Scripture course. He taught religion at Saint-Michel (1871-1888), where he published numerous religious works. He went to teach theology at the Grand Seminary of Kurseong, and then became spiritual director of the Grand Seminary of Darjeeling, India.
